La cooperazione internazionale e gli obiettivi del Millennio

La necessità di governare il mondo in modo diverso ha imposto ai governi locali la responsabilità di diventare attori di politica estera e di cooperazione internazionale; questo ha creato difficoltà ma, allo stesso tempo, ha offerto una grande opportunità per combinare in modo efficace la relazione tra problemi locali e globali. La necessaria apertura di una finestra sul mondo, diventato un “villaggio globale”, obbliga ad intervenire tutti direttamente nella ricerca di soluzioni a problemi che sono globali ma che vanno risolti soprattutto localmente. Il segreto è proprio nei piccoli cambiamenti locali, che risultano essere i più sostanziali.

The Eugad team has landed in the African soil. We find ourselves in an eco-village at the Number 2 River, a fascinating coast line where the river meets the sea in Sierra Leone. The touristic centre in the Freetown Peninsula is ideal for groups of adventurous travelers who want to live a challenging holiday experience (have a look!). Equipped for the challenge, and initiating our wild African times with this milder introduction, we are eagerly awaiting to start shooting (videos).
The Eugad Team, in collaboration with Italian journalists from RAI, will hunt for stries, opinions and video material in Sierra Leone. Material which will be utilized for the preparation of our manual and for the production of an 8 episode documentary on the Milennium Development Goals.
The documentary analyzing the challenges of implementing the MDG agenda, the EU commitment, the ongoing effort and the results achieved.

The Eugad team is right now in an amazing sierra leonan eco - centre in Freetown Peninsula,
The Team, with the participation of the italian television journalists (RAI) as well, will collect video material in Sierra Leone that will be utilized for the preparation of a manual for media professionals, educators and for the production of 8 documentaries on the Milennium development goals. This documentaries will demonstrate the achievement and challenges in establishing “Global partnerships for Development”
