Title: “Social Economy as a way to social inclusion; status of play in Bulgaria, the Italian Experience and the European Social Policy:  ideas for the new programming period 2014-2020″

The present seminar has been organized by the NGO Armadilla within the frame of the project EUGAD: EuropeAid/126341/C/ACT/Multi.

EUGAD project is operating within the objectives of the Millennium and the creation of a permanent network of stakeholders in the sector of social policy is an important step to increase the efficiency of the impact of social policy at global level.

Do you think cause related marketing can ensure a flow of corporate fund in the social sector?

Where I’m more interested in companies is around their supply chain. You can buy a bottle of Coca-Cola in every corner of India. Now if I could use their supply chain for public health messages…

For an example, getting banks to put HIV safe sex messages on each of their bank and pay slips… there is where i find companies and private sectors can really make a difference. You are here getting an access which organizations like mine or even governments can never reach. I am more interested in using companies for dissemination rather than cause related marketing.

Eugad’s Cross Cultural Awareness Training program in Sofia, Bulgaria to reinforce Intercultural Communication

In our attempt to participate in the global cooperation for development process, we come from different backgrounds, history and culture, we have been educated in a communication frame and based on specific pattern and we bring various levels of experience and awareness. These elements are at the base of bringing together the nations in Europe and beyond and it is actually the essence of the European Union altogether as Europe is all about diversity, communities, cultural exchanges. Furthermore, the dynamic process of mixing national and ethnic, East to West brings progress and ultimately stimulates the global development.
