Presentation of Eugad

This section introduces the reader to the background, objectives, vision, focus, output and partners of the project. The files in this section are the project’s contractual agreements with the European Commission and are not outputs of the Eugad pro project.
You will also find here the plan of action of the project which has been written in written in four languages: English, Italian, Bulgarian and Rumanian

Who is working at Eugad

  • Partners:  This section lists all the partners of the project. The list does not only have the core partners EUGAD but also all the organizations which in some form or the other contributed towards the project.
Each partner’s name is then linked to profile page where all the information about them can be viewed. The profile introduces the organization to the viewer, explains their role/contribution to the project, the work they’ve complete and the one they will be doing next and it lists the people from the organization who are contributing towards Eugad.
  • Contributors: This section lists the individual people from each partner who are contributing towards the project. This list in then linked to a personal profile of the Contributor where there the viewer can find additional information about them. If the contributor is working for the core them of the project then the viewer will also see what work s/he has done and will do for Eugad. In the next phase we will be working on organizing a system through which the viewer will directly be able to see what are the activities the contributor is directly responsible for and the wiki pages which relate to her work/role in Eugad.

What are we discussing about?

  • Issues:   The content of this page is a list of question which the project wishes to tackle. Most of the questions are the same which were used by Eugad for the interviews. When clicking each question the viewer will be directed to a new page where the best answers given by various people are listed out.

What are we doing?

  • Manuals:  This section will be elaborated in the coming phase of the project. At this point of time it contains the index of the manual and the resources which will be used to create the manual. Most of the pages linked to this page do not have anything written on it right now.
  • Documentaries
  • Events

Tools

Guidelines:  Therse are indications for contributors to complete any task they were required to do.

Templates:  The partners, to complete their work, asked us to produce various templates. In this page you will see the list of various templates which we created to help contributors complete their work and then upload it on the wiki.
The work we did in regard to templates on wiki pages was not only to create them, but to instruct contributors on how the template should be filled up, help them where they were faced with problems in inserting the content and improve the aesthetics of the page

Interviews and Reports  -   The Eugad project has various reports and interviews. In the above pages you will find the list of interviews taken in the Eugad project and the reports submitted. With regard to interviews and reports, we created the various types of templates, trained the contributors on how they must upload the information and helped them where they were faced with difficulties in uploading or editing.

Flags

Flags are used to describe the condition of a page on the wiki. The role of the flags is to inform the viewer and the working team about the advancement of the work in progress. When a page will be flagged, the person flagging will go to the contributor's profile whose responsibility is to the quality and content of the falgged page, and link it to the work that the contributor has to do. After doing this s/he will send an email to the contributor informing her about the flag and ask her to change the page accordingly. This step has been taken after seeing that the quality of many wiki pages was very low and the website viewers would think it was the final version, when it wasn't. Moreover this can improve communication between partners and make each contributor understand better their role.
